TWENTY YEARS AGO, making a five minute short, let alone a full length feature, was simply a dream for almost everyone who had an interest in filmmaking. Today, however, with the advances in technology, the art of filmmaking can be accessible to anyone with a small amount of capital, a good bit of computer savvy, and a great deal of passion.

However, creating a film is just part of the filmmaking process. While having a finished product is an impressive accomplishment, every filmmaker wants his or her work to be viewed, and hopefully, appreciated. That is where we come in.

TheBackUpPlan.tv is about Independent Filmmaking. We intend to be the premier online film theater showcasing works of independent filmmakers from around the world. Filmmakers have the opportunity to have their films be seen globally by employing the internet as a medium for the exhibition of those films.

We have made it our priority to promote all independent filmmakers and honor the best of the best.

While we are not necessarily a film festival, per se, we will be offering an annual contest where winners in different genres will be voted on by both the viewing public and our panel professional judges. Click here for our submission FAQ.

Beverly Lynne is a former NFL Cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles. Her acting career began in 2000 and has starred in numerous films and television programs, ranging from HBO, Showtime, Fox Television, as well as independent films that are available at Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. She has recently produced her first film, The Atonement of Janis Drake that is currently in post production and will be released by BackUpPlan Productions. Jeff Quinlan grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Montclair State University with a Business Administration degree. After, college he worked for a Wall Street Mutual Fund company. After 2 years, he decided to bring his business and marketing experience to work in the growing real estate industry in Hoboken. He became a successful real estate developer in Hoboken and other parts of New Jersey.Besides being a successful real estate developer, another of his dreams was to act and produce movies. He started in the film business in 2003, when he co produced, North of Providence with his actor friend Marc Belasco. In 2005, Jeff befriended Kenneth Delvecchio, a best selling author, and critically acclaimed filmmaker and actor. They both had similar interests about film making, producing and acting. Jeff became the executive producer and actor in Ken Delvecchio's movie Polycarp, stars Michael Pare, Charles Durning, Justin Deas, Kelli McCarty, Beverly Lynne, Marc Belasco, Brooke Lewis, and Brandon Slagle. He then was asked by well established film makers to executive produce and act in the following films: The Attoinment of Janice Drake, a thriller shot in Las Vegas, by Beverly Lynne, Methodic by Chris Notorile, Bare Knuckles by Eric Etebaris stars Marty Kove, Louis Mandylor, Chris Mulkey, Jeanette Roxborough ... Pride and Loyalty by Kenneth Delvecchio,I Murders by Robbie Bryan and Kenneth Delvecchio, stars Billy Dee Williams, William Forsythe, Gabrielle Anwar, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, and Charles Durning. Jeff is a founding partner of Mystic Warrior Productions and continues his passion for film making.

Jeff also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Hoboken International Film Festival, one of the world's largest film festivals. Jeff's passion is to continue with production of movies, acting, and working with the successful Hoboken International Film Festival.
